Speedy J at Decibel Festival
Speedy J has been brilliant since the early days of Warp Records. He was a pioneer in IDM, then he blew the pants off the industrial scene with ‘A Shocking Hobby‘ in 2000. If you’re more familiar with the Loudboxer vibe, he’s slowed down the 145bpm techno to the mid to high 120s. The dark, heavy groove is still alive and kicking. This is Speedy J doing minimal techno, but worlds apart from the typical minimal crowd. Densely layered, complex, deep and sinister.

Barem vs Seph, Buenos Aires
Holy cow. This is the best mix I’ve heard in months and it clocks around 160 minutes. These two are among the best in the biz at the moment. There is great variation in this mix, brand new and unreleased tracks that breathe new life in each individual’s sets. Barem and Seph always bring the top shelf dark minimal. These two go together like PB & J - minimal, crunchy, and sweet, sweet jam.
